As a fellow Murray Area Chamber member, we're sure you, too, are deeply saddened by the death of Scott Baker, beloved President of the Murray Area Chamber. We hope you'll join us in commemorating Scott's contributions to Murray by participating in an event that we are holding in his honor.
You may be aware that Scott was passionate in his support of the American Red Cross. Scott was the first to suggest that Wasatch Baskets & Gifts host a blood drive and encouraged our idea of holding a mini-trade show at the same time.
At the time of his death, Scott had already begun publicizing the upcoming January 29th drive and trade show (assuring us that he believed this event would be the best one yet). What could be more fitting than to hold this drive and trade show in Scott's honor?
In the past, we had 30 plus exhibitors and more than a hundred visitors participating in the show. With your help, we believe that this trade show will be even bigger and better. It's a great time for you to showcase your product, talk at length with individuals who may be interested in what you have to offer and a great opportunity to make new and lasting relationships.
And here's the great part: tables are absolutely free if you give blood. If you can't give blood, just bring a friend who can and your table is still free. If you can't give blood and can't find someone who can we ask that you donate $20 for cancer research being done in Utah. Now that's a deal.
To make things even more exciting, we're offering great prizes throughout the day, including a BIG basket to the person or company that brings the most people to donate blood.
To schedule your table as well as your blood donation time, call Wasatch Baskets at 801.268.6032 or email us at www.wasatchbaskets.com. See you on January 29th!
In Scott's honor, let's all wear RED (even those of you who normally prefer blue).
